Sound familiar?

Somebody always ends up in the kitchen.

You booked the villa with the long table and the view. Then reality lands: someone drives to the supermercado, someone works out what eight people will actually eat, and someone stands at the sink at eleven at night while everyone else is out by the pool.

Eating out every night solves it and costs a fortune — and it means tired children in restaurants, two cars, and getting home too late.

It is your holiday too. You should be at the table, not behind it.

How it works

Three steps, then you sit down.

  1. i

    Tell us your dates

Tap the evenings you want cooking for — one, or as many as you like — and say how many are eating. You get a reply the same day.

  2. ii

    Choose a menu

Pick a set menu or let Simon build one around the group — allergies, vegetarians and fussy eaters included, at no extra cost.

  3. iii

    Open a bottle

He arrives with the shopping, cooks, serves, clears the table and washes up. You never leave your chair.

Straight answers

Questions people ask before booking.

What does a private chef at a holiday villa actually cost?

A villa dinner party starts at €65 per person for a minimum of 4 guests. Full-week catering starts at €55 per person per evening. Celebration menus start at €95 per person. That price includes menu planning, all ingredients, travel within Spain, service on the night and a full clean-down of the kitchen. Drinks packages are optional and added separately, from €8 per person.

Do you bring your own ingredients and equipment?

Yes. Simon shops for everything on the day, brings his own knives, pans and small equipment, and uses your villa kitchen only for cooking and plating. You do not need to buy or prepare anything.

Who does the washing up?

Simon does. Every booking includes clearing the table, washing up and leaving the kitchen the way he found it. Nobody in the group touches a pan.

Which areas of Spain do you cover?

Simon Griffith covers Spain, including Jávea, Moraira, Dénia, Calpe, Altea and Benissa. Travel within that area is included. Villas further out can usually be covered for a small travel supplement — ask when you enquire.

Can you cook for allergies, vegetarians and children?

Yes. Every menu is adjusted around the group. Tell us about allergies, intolerances, vegetarian or vegan guests and fussy children when you book, and the menu is written around them at no extra cost.
